Bergen is easy to reach
Bergen is well-equipped for international and national visitors. Bergen Airport, Flesland, has direct flights to a number of European cities, as well as frequent departures to the rest of Norway. The travel time from the airport to the city center is around 45 minutes by light rail or 30 minutes by bus. In addition, Bergen has a train connection to Oslo and, not least, several departures by express boats along the coast.
Bergen City of Culture
Bergen is an established cultural city with a wide range of offerings in music, performing arts, history and visual arts. Bryggen is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is a visible symbol of the city's long history as a trading and maritime city. For HavExpo participants, Bergen offers the opportunity to combine trade fair participation with cultural and city experiences, whether it's museum visits, concerts or trips to the surrounding area. Haven't been to Fløyen yet? This year you almost have to take a trip up and see the view.
Social meeting places
The evening events are an important part of HavExpo. After the end of the fair day, the conversations move on to Bergen city center, where the city offers many informal arenas for networking.
There is one local name in particular that is worth noting: Zachen in the vernacular – actually Zachariasbryggen. Here you will find restaurants, bars, nightclubs and the city's best outdoor seating. During HavExpo, the entire building is transformed into a large and lively meeting place for the industry. Here you will meet new acquaintances, old acquaintances and industry colleagues you don't yet know you will get to know. It makes for good conversations and pleasant evenings in the extension of the fair day.

Efficient transport solutions are being planned between Bergen city centre and the exhibition area at Sotra during HavExpo. Fast bus connections make it easy to travel to and from the exhibition, and give you the flexibility to stay centrally in the city without long travel times.
