HavExpo 2026 will be bigger and better than before

HavExpo 2026 promises to be the best trade fair for the aquaculture and fisheries industries to date with significant expansions and improvements based on experience and feedback from previous events.

Strong growth and great interest

Already ¾ year before the fair starts on 5-7 May 2026, over 85 percent of the total area has been sold. This despite the fact that the fair area has been expanded by a full 30 percent since the fair in 2024. The average size of the stands has also increased significantly, which signals great confidence in the event among exhibitors.

Major investments in new facilities

HavExpo 2026 will have a brand new conference hall with 500 seats and full stage rig located between Hall A and Hall C. In addition, the registration area will be more efficient, and greater emphasis will be placed on the catering options for visitors.
An important piece of news is that the organizers will significantly improve visitor data collection and make fully analyzed data available to exhibitors. This will make it easier to measure and evaluate the benefit of the investment in participating as an exhibitor.

Practical preparations underway

Online store for ordering: Bergen Expo has opened its online store for ordering furniture and equipment for the stands. The online store opened on August 1, 2025 and has an order deadline of April 1, 2026. The system is designed to make it easy for suppliers to accept orders, pick and deliver the right goods and services directly to each individual stand.

Accommodation: Bergen is a large city with good hotel capacity, but it is still recommended to book hotels in good time. The organizers have reserved a number of rooms with several hotel chains and negotiated what they believe are favorable prices. This is done to ensure that there are enough rooms at normal prices during the fair period. Exhibitors are free to book where they wish or have a company agreement, but can also use the reserved rooms. On the HavExpo website you will find an overview of the reserved hotels as well as information about the distance from each hotel to the shuttle bus routes.

Contact information: To ensure good communication leading up to the fair, the organizers encourage exhibitors to provide correct contact information to post@havexpo.no , so that important information reaches the right person.
