Lots of people, good meetings and new inspiration

There is a good atmosphere and broad smiles among the visitors at HavExpo. People have traveled far to see what is happening in the industry – and for many it is as much about meeting people as it is about seeing new technology.

Two cheerful guys from Haugalandet, Oddbjørn Øverland from Eccoit and Håvard Sulebakk from Alfred Nesset Automation, are among those who have made the trip. They are clear about what draws them here: products, technology and people.

– I'm here every day, says Sulebakk. – Both to meet existing customers and potential new ones, but also to see the latest in product development.

For Håvard it is his first time at HavExpo, while Oddbjørn has been here once before. Both agree that this is tempting to repeat.

– Next time we'll have a stand, laughs Håvard.

Outside the AquaByte dome we meet a trio from Bolaks: Kenneth Fagerbakk, Victoria Tverli Dale and Synnøve Autestad. On their way into the dome, they smile as hard as the sun.

– It's really nice to be here, but the correct answer to why we're here is probably professional enrichment, Kenneth smiles slyly.

– It's nice to see what's going on in the industry, and to meet famous people, adds Synnøve. There are around ten people from the company present, with even more on the way. The impression of the fair so far is positive. – Lots of fun to see, and lots of interesting suppliers to talk to.

In Hall C, Ingvild Apeland and Ailin Strand from Sterling Halibut have taken a short break. They are based in Rogaland and are very pleased with the experience so far.

– It's good, lots of good stands. Very good vibes and lots of people, they say. For them, the visit is about meeting suppliers and getting an overview of equipment and solutions. – There's something for everyone here – both for those who like technical gadgets and for us who work more with support and quality. We definitely benefit from being here, they say in unison.

They're not quite finished with HavExpo yet either. - We'll be here tomorrow too.

Visitors we meet highlight much of the same: professional enrichment, good conversations and the opportunity to get an overview of what is happening in the industry.
